Welcome to the virtual consultation for Western Way and Orchard Way.

Surveys of existing buildings have identified significant investment needed to the homes and buildings on the sites. The existing buildings are set within spaces that could be better used and made more attractive. Our proposal is to redevelop the area. The homes specifically involved are those at 59-85 Orchard Way and on Western Way at numbers 17-55; 73-111; 125-351 [odd numbers]; and 66-96 [even numbers].

The aim of redevelopment would be to provide new homes that are comfortable, sustainable and safe places to live in, whilst improving circulation, street scene and the landscape. This consultation is to start the engagement journey with residents, key stakeholders, neighbours and the wider community. We want to involve you in the evolving plans for the site with ongoing discussions to help shape future plans for this area.
